Jamie joined Chevron Quality Cars as Sales Manager in March 2014. Leading his team of Sales Executives draws on the talent Jamie has developed through his extensive sales and management oriented career.
Studying Science and Technology in preparation for a degree in Mechanical Engineering Jamie’s goals and aspirations quickly changed when he found himself working for a local car retailer at the age of 19. Instantly recognizing the opportunities the industry could provide, Jamie’s career path was set in stone from here. This particular role is one Jamie describes as the ideal preparation for his achievements as he was able to learn from the ground up and have direct involvement in all aspects of the business, which included sales, grooming and a service department. The culmination of this business knowledge, sales talent and people skills have ensured Jamie was right as he relishes a successful and rewarding career.
Jamie’s information sharing and supportive approach make him a well-respected and popular Sales Manager amongst his team. Jamie thrives on the interaction with clients and his team on a daily basis and loves the family values and wealth of knowledge within Chevron.
Married to wife Keta and father to their 3 beautiful, sports oriented children, family is the most important thing to Jamie. His motto is ‘famiglia dapprima’ which in Italian means ‘family first’. Jamie is also fiercely disciplined in the gym, where you will find him lifting weights typically between 6am and 7am most days
Thang, known as TC, joined the Chevron Quality Cars team at the beginning of May 2016. Prior to joining us he enjoyed a hugely successful career with a Ford franchise dealership, which spanned 14 years.
TC is recognised by his customers for his professionalism, attention to detail and follow up as well as never making a promise he doesn’t keep. He is continually being praised for his approachability and unassuming motivation to go above and beyond his customers expectations. TC has the ability to take much of the stress out of buying a vehicle and make it enjoyable. He puts this down to his experience, knowledge and confidence in the product he sells.
TC will tell you he loves his role at Chevron for many reasons but mostly for the diversity of vehicles, customers, opportunity to build long-term customer relationships and the trusting team environment.
Outside of work TC enjoys a wide range of interests listing motor cross, kickboxing and cars as where he focuses the majority of his spare time. TC also enjoys travelling and has been lucky enough to experience much of Asia from a young age.

The boy from the West Coast teamed up with Ian Smith as a 25 year old in 1972 forming Smith Burn Motors. With very little money but a ton of enthusiasm they commenced business on Moorhouse Avenue with no signs, power or telephone and with a 10-foot caravan for an office. Grahams enthusiasm has never left him nor has he strayed from his reputation for honesty, integrity and excellent customer service. Fueled by these values and with true entrepreneurship running through his veins not even a global oil crisis could dampen a vision for his own, independent venture Small Car World. Success continued to flow and ultimately led to the formation of the larger and still remembered Integrity Cars Group. Growing to encompass 3 retail yards along with a booming wholesale division with it’s own purpose built office and distribution warehouse, Integrity Cars became NZ’s biggest importer of cars out of Japan. In its hay day Integrity Wholesale bought in 800 cars a month. It was also the training ground for a number of Christchurch’s most successful car dealers today.
Satisfied with Integrity’s long running success the idea of retirement became increasingly attractive and so Graham made the decision to wind the business down. This thought process was interrupted when his eldest son presented a ground breaking vehicle broker model – the venture that would place retirement in the wings.
Alongside his interest in his sons business, Graham is also the energised owner of Chevron Quality Cars. He continues to recognise that buying a car is, for many people, one of the biggest decisions they will ever make and as such continues his commitment to exceptional customer service. And while you may not see Graham on the yard on a daily basis, you can be assured his finger is constantly on the pulse and he is never far away.
Dipping his toes into ‘semi-retirement’ Graham relishes time with his family, travel, regular visits to the gym, tennis and horses – in particular his own.
