I just had to write back to thank you and the team for the outstanding service we experienced at Chevron Quality Cars.
Our trip to CHCH had been researched and planned for some time. All going well we were prepared to purchase two vehicles to replace our very aging but reliable Subaru's. The
time frame was very tight having to be up Monday and back Tuesday.
Our first pre-arranged viewing was Monday morning looking at a new vehicle suitable for the winter conditions that we experience in our area. I have to say the whole experience was underwhelming and it didn't take us very long to become disinterested and so we moved on.
Next stop was a dealer slightly out of town. The vehicle was a second hand 4wd with relatively low kilometers. The salesman was informative and helpful and the vehicle ticked all the boxes our daughter in law required. We informed him while we weren't prepared to sign up on the spot it was very likely we would purchase this vehicle from him. I won't go into all the details of the other inquiries we made suffice to say we were prepared to keep looking for the second vehicle.
Monday evening we decided to wander along Moorehouse Avenue to see what might be available. Chevrons offering of vehicles stood out as having a wider choice of vehicle makes and all later models, and they were beautifully presented. A Volkswagen Tiguan took our fancy so we went for a test drive with sales executive in the front with my wife driving. Discussions during this test drive were very informative regarding the features and benefits of this particular model, He was not at all pushy, or in any other way being conclusive towards us making a purchase. He struck all of us as being genuine and someone we could work with when it comes to final pricing and accessories we may require. After discussion we said that we would like to purchase this vehicle but we were under time pressure they promised that reregistration, WOF, another groom, fuel, extended warranty and the another paper work could all be done within three hours, which was absolutely great.
The next part is the best. On the way out of the yard our daughter in law remarked how much she really liked the vehicle we were about to purchase and maybe we could have another look around. No need I thought and I reverse back into Chevron. After discussion He had us all looking at another Volkswagen they had in stock, very low kilometers and once again beautifully presented and reasonably priced, a road test followed and the decision was made to purchase this as well. Again not a problem, both would be ready in the three-hour slot and also because of the twin purchase they would adjust some of the costs.
I believe this to be exceptional service. We all got away on time and as a wee bonus management gave us an expensive bottle of local wine.
Before leaving He asked if we could give him a text when we arrived home as we had to travel over frosty roads, also a few days later we received a box of chocolates from him with a nice note included.
When a vehicle replacement comes up in our family I wouldn't go passed Chevron they were awesome.

I am sending my thanks for the great service I received when buying my car.
When my husband and I entered the car yard, We were welcomed us and didn't leave to serve anyone else, like we had from other services all day.
The Sales person spent his time and effort
showing us cars on the yard.
The car we wanted was not on their yard, he ask a staff member who looked up on their computer to see if there was one in their warehouse and there was. This is how great the staff are he said "I will go and collect it from the warehouse". While we waited we were made comfortable in the showroom with T.V for my son to watch, and a comfy seat and a glass of water for us.
"I think that a nice cup of coffee would have been great".
The whole experience from start to finish was the best I have received and the staff are kind and welcoming and make you feel important.
